UniSport Nationals provides the opportunity for students from across Australia to compete head to head in a number of national standard sporting competitions.
The Nationals are comprised of two flagship events, The UniSport Nationals Div 1 and 2 (formally known as UniGames), and a number of standalone competitions throughout the year.
The UniSport Nationals Div 1 and 2 events will see more than 10,000 student-athletes head to the Gold Coast in the year to compete in 47 different sport competitions.
Nationals Div 2 will take place from July 1st - 5th, while Nationals Div 1 will be from 23rd - 27th of September.
National Div 2 Sports: Badminton (M/W); Basketball (M/W); Futsal (M/W); Hockey (M); Netball (W/MX); Tennis (M/W); Touch Football (M/W/MX); Ultimate Frisbee (M/W); Volleyball (M/W); Water Polo (M/W).
National Div 1 Sports: AFL (M/W); Athletics; Baseball (M); Beach Volleyball (W/MX); Cheer; Cycling; Fencing; Golf; Handball (MX); Judo; Kendo ; Lawn Bowls; Rugby 7's (M/W); Soccer (M); Softball; Squash ; Swimming; Table Tennis; Taekwondo; Ten Pin Bowling.
In 2018, the Indigenous Nationals will be hosted by Walanga Muru at Macquarie University, Sydney 24-28 June and will be contested in a mixed competition across four sports: touch football, basketball, netball, and volleyball.
In 2018, Nationals Snow will be held at Mt Buller, 28 August - 1 September, and will be contested in both men's and women's competitions across four sports; alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboard and cross country skiing.
