Nationals Div 1
Participation at Nationals Div1 is via invitation based on results at Div2. There are also numerous sports which are only played at Div1. A full list of Div1 sports can be found here.
UOW will be forming a team for Snow Nationals, which be held in Thredbo on the 25 - 29 August and comprises men's and women's competitions across four sports; alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboard and cross country skiing. More information available here.
All UOW teams are managed by UniActive staff and our goal is to make inter-varsity sport an accessible and amazing experience for anyone who wants to take part. We organise accommodation, uniforms, pre-departure formalities and so forth, as well as accompanying the team to events to support and assist as required.
In 2019, the Indigenous Nationals will be hosted by University of Western Australia, Sydney 25-28 June and will be contested in a mixed competition across four sports: touch football, basketball, netball, and volleyball.
