UniActive Swim School delivers high-quality, progressive swimming lessons for all ages and abilities in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Based at the University of Wollongong’s Emma McKeon pool, our program is led by nationally qualified instructors who focus on building water confidence, strong technique, and lifelong swimming skills — from first splashes through to stroke development and junior squad pathways. Lessons run year-round in our heated 50m pool, with small class sizes, clear level progression, and flexible payment options for families.

JELLYFISH

Babies & Toddlers from 6months to 3 years
30 MINUTE CLASS

TADPOLE

Water familiarisation and water safety.
30 MINUTE CLASS

FROG

Introduction to freestyle movement
30 MINUTE CLASS

MINNOW

Equivalent to Goldfish class for those 6 & under
30 MINUTE CLASS

GOLDFISH

Freestyle progression and introduction to backstroke
30 MINUTE CLASS

FLYING FISH

Consolidation of freestyle and backstroke. Introduction to breaststroke.

Consolidation of freestyle and backstroke. Introduction to butterfly stroke.

SWORDFISH

Focused on refining freestyle and backstroke, while also developing butterfly and breaststroke techniques.
45 MINUTE CLASS

BARRACUDA

Introduction to squad swimming and skills. Refining all strokes, and introducing turns and starts. Fitness aspect incorporated.
1 HOUR CLASS

SHARK

Consolidating squad swimming skills. Refining strokes, turns and starts. Introduction to competitive swimming. Fitness aspect incorporated.
