Returning in 2025! 

Held at the UOW Sports Hub, futsal matches take place on full-sized courts, with each game consisting of two 16-minute halves and a dedicated referee.

 

Our Futsal competition is currently taking a break until 2025 due to UOW graduation and exams hosted at the UOW Sports Hub.

FAQs

Are there age/skill level requirements?
  • All players must be 18+
  • There is no skill level requirement.
  • Teams will have the option to select division 1 or division 2 based on perceived skill.
Is parking available?
  • The Sports Hub parking is the closest available car park. It is ticketless and cashless to provide quicker and easier access in and out. When you enter the car park, a camera will take a picture of your license plate and it will automatically be recorded and the gate will open. Then simply pay via the pay station or the lane on exit.
  • If you are a current UniActive Member, Fitness Passport holder or Swim School enrolment, you can park free for 2 hours.
What equipment do I need?
  • UniActive will provide all equipment necessary to play, except for team uniforms.
  • Fustal – Your team must provide your own team uniforms. Numbers are not required, but all players must be in the same colour. UniActive will have bibs on site in case teams are the same color.
Are there prizes or awards for winning teams?

There will be prizes for the 1st place team at the end of the season.

What's the process for rescheduling or canceling games?
  • Forfeits – 48 hours’ notice is required to avoid a forfeit fee of $100.
  • Games cancelled due to a team forfeiting will not be replayed.
  • If UniActive needs to cancel games, the games will be rescheduled and all players will be notified of the rescheduled game times.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

  1. Registration Fees – All registration fees are due prior to the commencement of the season.
  2. Forfeits – A minimum of two days (48 hours) is required to avoid a $100 forfeit fee.
  3. Team managers are responsible for the conduct of all their players. Team managers are responsible for ensuring all players, including themselves, adhere to the rules and policies of the competition and respect the decision of the umpires and referees.
  4. Any unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disciplinary action, including potential suspension or expulsion from the competition.
