After School Football Technical Sessions

8-14 Boys and Girls

The UniActive Football Technical Sessions is an after school program designed for footballers (8-14 year old boys and girls) of all skill levels and footballing backgrounds.

Each session focuses on a different element of football combining over time to develop a complete footballer with a well-rounded understanding of the game.

Dynamic and enthusiastic coaches with experience in high level football, delivering fast paced football activities that maximise football moments.

CORE TECHNIQUES

Develop an understanding of how and when to execute the core techniques and skills seen in elite footballers through repetition and technical guidance.

  • Focus on mastering fundamental football skills (passing, dribbling, shooting, etc.)
  • Learn the appropriate timing and context for each technique during match play
  • Improve technical execution through structured drills and repetition
  • Receive expert feedback and guidance to refine techniques
  • Build a strong foundation for advanced tactical and positional training
ELITE BEHAVIOURS

Learn the footballing behaviours seen in the world’s best players.

  • Build confidence and a winning mindset both on and off the field
  • Develop resilience by learning from mistakes
  • Gain insight into how elite footballers train
Session Details

Mondays

Start date: Monday, 4 August 2025
End Date: Monday, 8 September 2025
Times: 4:45PM-6PM (arrive from 4:30PM)
Location: Oval 1

Wednesdays

Start date: Wednesday, 6 August 2025
End Date: Wednesday, 10 September 2025
Times: 4:45PM-6PM (arrive from 4:30PM)
Location: Bottom Oval

You can choose from Mondays or Wednesdays, or do both!

Costs: $30/session or $300 for all 12 sessions

Training shirt included in cost

Parking available under Sports Hub or P5.

FAQs

WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING WITH THEM EACH SESSION?
  • Football boots/suitable runners
  • Shin pads
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Water bottle
  • Individual medical supplies (EpiPen, Puffers etc)
  • Any jumpers/jackets/raincoats that maybe required as per weather conditions
GROUPING PLAYERS

Players will be grouped based on age and skill level. Boys and girls may be mixed. Groups can change throughout each session.

CAN PARENTS WATCH?

Parents are welcome to stay and watch. All children will be completely supervised for the duration of the training sessions.

HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD?

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A UNIACTIVE ACCOUNT

  3. Select ‘Get started by creating a free account for you and your family’ and click ‘Next’.

IF YOU HAVE AN ACCOUNT (GUEST ACCOUNT OR YOU’RE ALREADY A UNIACTIVE MEMBER):

After clicking the ‘Register Your Child Now’ button above:

  1. Login to the participants client portal.
  2. Go to ‘Shop’ at the top of the page.
  3. Find the date(s) you would like to register for and ‘add to cart’.
  4. Complete payment.

The Sports Program Coordinator will contact you with an intro email and a parental consent form to fill out and return within 5 days of registering.
