UOW Sports Clubs
UOW has a proud sporting history across a number of local sports competitions.
Just want to play socially? There are a number of social sports comps on campus.
cricket
UOW Cricket Club is the oldest sporting club on campus. The club plays in the Illawarra District Cricket Association (IDCA) with teams entered in all grades of the competition, 1st to 4th grade and also has junior teams.
football
The University of Wollongong Football Club (UOWFC) calls Kooloobong Oval home. They currently competes in the Illawarra District League with both women', men's and junior teams.
hockey
UOW Hockey Club provides the opportunity for boys, girls, men and women to participate in the local Illawarra hockey competitions. They cater for players of all ages and skill levels.
2015 will be the club's 54th year. The club has developed from a student based club to a student and family orientated club, with a friendly and social atmosphere.
rugby
UOW Rugby Club fields teams in all grades of the local Illawarra competition. The club welcomes UOW students, alumni, staff and community player members coming from both on and off campus.
